I-Worm.Gedza description: Worm Gedza spreads in the Internet and uses several ways for it: by e-mail in messages with infected attachments, by file sharing networks, through ICQ messengers. It also tries to infect random vulnerable hosts. The worm scans local hard disks for files of several types and for some popular programs. Then it sends itself to found e-mail addresses and uses found programs to distribute itself in some networks. The Gedza can take more dangerous actions: it can overwrite files of some types and copy itself to removable floppy disks.
