I like Nokia 5700 XpressMusic.
This was the phone Nokia I purchased since the 3210. It was quite difficult to find, as most shops were not aware of the phone & this includes the likes of Carphone Warehouse & that awful retailer in most high street's called Phones4U.
Music player is good, great sound even from the standard earphones that come with the phone - even better with the music
headphones from Nokia. I find one problem with the music player, the buttons are too slow & it normally takes a second or two to react when wanting to pause a file. It is even worse when trying to stop a file; it normally starts to play the track again.
Video option, tried transferring some music video files, does not work at all. Camera is okay, although the flash is very bright. Good features & there are different camera types as well. Usability is great, although it takes a few days to get used too & you find lots of shortcuts & features. Very user-friendly.
I really liked this phone, saved having to carrying an
iPod & a phone, especially on the morning journeys to work while using the tubes to get to work. However, the phone has been hassle. Within three weeks, there was a problem with the mic & people would not hear me. I thought it was an issue with diverting all calls - made sure that there were no diversions & it worked. Within in a week, the same problem & took it to the local Nokia repair centre; they replaced the mic & the phone worked. I called someone the next day, they could not hear me. The phone is now been sent to Nokia & I am not sure what will happen. Only had the phone for 6 weeks & used it for less than 4.
Conclusion: Good phone, if your one works. Wish I got the N73 music edition instead.
