BB 7100i or 7520?

hey, i figured that i would try to be different from my current buys and get me a bb. the only thing is that i do not know which one to choose. my 1st question is that i want to know if the free internet/AIM mod or net alert can be done to bb's. another question is do they have direct connect?
i like the keyboard on the 7520 buy from the pics that ive seen, idk if the 7100t has the samething. if the internet or aim would cost me $, then i dont care about the keyboard bc it would be irrelevant. my next question is that if i put in my simcard, will my phonebook transfer(64k sim) or would i have to do something else. also is their anything else i should know.

I currently have the 7100 and I love it. The keyboard is different from the full qwerty that you'd get from the 7520, but its also different from your regular phone. The 7100 has the T9 dictionary so it automatically fills in the words with only one press of each button. And another difference is that the 7100 learns the words you type most often and automatically throws those out there when you type, unlike the 7520.

Both units have DirectConnect.

Both units can use the Ramble IM client for AIM (free and fully functional no more alerts)

The unlimited internet service for either one is 44.95 a month (believe me you need it! I used 45 megs of packet in a week!) But you have to have a minute plan as well, so add whatever minute plan you have and the 44.95...

The 7100 has WiDEN capability (not yet functional).

Plus if you order in the next few weeks they're throwing in a bluetooth headset from Motorola for free. Cost is 199.99 (or 99.99) depending on who you go through :biggrin:

wait, so my current bill is 7-.00 a month...so now 4 internet i wud need 2 add 45??? i dont really need the internet, all i want is to be able to go on aim and check email.

i am about to go through telesales so would they include a bluetooth headset??

Yes must have the BB plan added to your reg phone charges and that kills a $45/month just to have the email push/ and it is also unlimted data. Thats why I went from an BB 7520 to an i930 more options and hell I am using almost a gb for a month on the i930 Never used much on the BB most of the time 10mb

I930 with widen alot faster for web, can stream, but damn I do miss the qwerty built in keyboard for sure....Other than that i930 way out does the BB and now with decert even better

i found out that the bb cost an xtra 30-50 a month bc of the internet so i decided not to get it. my bill is already 90+ as it is so that is the last thing that i need. i will either get a 870 or 930 for christmas, or mayb even the next best thing if anything comes out

can u put a boost simchip in the 7250 and it be fully functional:eekout:
