i had a i860 and nextel service, i vhanged my phone to a blackberry 7100i.. i know there is a way to get free internet service by sending a net alert to your phone, from a website... but to do this I need my Subscriber ID... I can't seem to find in in my BB 7100i.. any help? I don't have the cash at the time to upgrade my service to the bb service .. help... please!

you'll see a small globe in the top right of your phone, go to Menu --> Net --> Nextel.com --> Sub ID and write down the first two sets of numbers, on mine it was like 10 digits, a dash, then 8 digits.

3.) Go Here http://www.teknidude.com/wap/alert.asp and add the numbers to the beginning of the address already provided. Send the Net Alert.

4.) Once you receive the alert, it will allow you full web access. Simply go to your Mesg area, then Net Alerts, then choose TekniWap.

I had the same problem. The only way I was able to fix it was unfortunatly was to get the BB plan. Let me know if you have any luck.
