were looking for it. the guy you had an issue with was removed ...no kicked out of the staff here for being a dork to think he had the only software out there to do this so give us a bit.

Its ok i understand. you paid a great deal of money for a phone and you just want to use it. the problem is that the boost version of the 885 is double locked and there is new software. so me a steve will be further helping you about this ordeal and we will find it really soon. who wants to use a 730 when they have a 885...i know i dont lol. hang in there.

Hi Everyone! I'm a new member and love the site, it's very informative. I've read every single thing I could about Nextel & Boost but haven't found an answer I need. I was hoping someone with a lot more tech knowledge could help me out.

I bought a brand-new i855 from a friend who worked in a 7-11. She assured me my Nextel sim would work. So $100 later I've realized it isn't that simple. So now I have my Nextel phone I just bought 3 months ago for $170 that is junk ( it's a i760, and doesn't do anything good!) and this $100 i855 and my hubby isn't happy. I'm trying to find out if there is a way to get this phone to work with my Nextel sim. I don't have a USB cable because I surely wasn't spending any more $$$ till I knew it would work! I hope that doesn't sound to bad......
If anyone could help or even give me some advice I'd appreciate it! So many people in these forums just talk about phones like they're a second language. I can turn them on and do the basics fairly easy, but this other stuff I require help! LOL
