That's crap.
That makes no sense to me how a i870 goes haywire with a i275 SIM in it. The i275 and i870 use the same SIM, I know because I had it and when I switched the insurance to the i870 Nextel gave me no problems. The only thing that might go haywire the first time is the MMS which Nextel can fix in a matter of minutes. Matter of fact, I still have the i275 SIM still in my phone and it works perfectly!
