perm disable call waiting?

anybody have an idea how to permanently disable call waiting for i870, i760, or i450? or disable the tone when you have an incoming call? nextel wont do anything on their end for me...

if you don't want to hear it keep ringing, then put it on VIBRATE. And in the phone call settings, you can turn Call Waiting ON or OFF. last i knew, all phones have the call waiting option in the phone calls settings

Not the ringing that bothers me...it's the 'beep' notification ever 2-3 seconds when in the middle of a call! And i dont have voicemail, so it will keep going for a full 30 sec unless I hit 'No' on take call.

This option will temporarly disable Call waiting only for the next call... It will then revert back to 'On'
