i850 Firmware

A friend of mine gave me an i850 and I went to check it out and what happens is when I turn it on everything loads up fine. But when I close it, the front LCD is blank blue, then I open it and the screen is white with blue lines scrolling down and I can't power it down without having to remove the battery.

I told Low about it and he suggested I update the firmware on the phone. So far I looked on the site and haven't come across it at all. Is there anyone out there that can help me with this problem? If you have firmware for this phone it would be greatly appreciated if you posted it here not just for me but for others that might be in need of it.
