How to take the shutter sound off when you take a picture.

I read awhile back someone asking how to take the shutter sound off their phone. All you have to do is do a recovery on your i860 using Carrier RSS and it will take it off. I'm not sure if it will do it to anyone elses but it double locked mine, and I had to unlock it again, but when it was all said and done the sounds were gone.

once its recovered, they cannot be RE-INSTALLED

Has anyone found a way to reinstall these?

And also is there a way to actually rip your FlashStrap off the phone, I want to toy with that and see what I can do with maybe a hexeditor or something.

actualy if u use the softwear update 2 reinstall softwear it wil reinstall i beleve

i tried using the R1A update on the i860 and it didn't work.
if its possible, it definitely needs to be pinned when found.

so if i do the phone recovery this will lock my phone then how iam i suppose to unlock it "i dont now if it helps but i have depot can the phone be unlock via depot, if i do the phone recovery"

No I have a prog that unlocks double locked fones
