protected media
When I download ringtones from myjal to the phone it downloads them as protected media and I am not able to bluetooth them to other phones.

Is there a way to reverse this? Can I unprotect them before downloading them to the phone or does downlaoding them via the usb directly into the phone automatically make them protected media?

Is this a possible thing to do?

if you use this to load them you can select the option to make them unprotected before loading.

It shouldn't matter where you put them. You should get a pop-up box that says "load xxx as ringtone?". If not you could possibly have it in the wrong format.
