what is the easiest prog for converting tones for an i836.. thx.. newbie here..

There are so many programs out there. It is all depending on the users preference. I use about 3 different ones. MP3 Wav Converter, Xingtone, and my favorite... Audacity.
Just open the program, once it loads up look for a folder with songs & grab one, you do a few tweaks and play the song, find the 30 seconds you want, and crop it. Once you do that, save it as an mp3 or wav, and Waalaa, you have a ringtone. Load em' up with W3bJ4L and a Data Cable and your good to go. Hope that helped.... ~D
