Tutorial on Making Wallpapers Using IrFanView For New Users

Step 1: Open IrfanView

Step 2: Click File -- Open... Then find your wallpaper

Step 3: Click Image then Down 8 Options To RESIZE/RESAMPLE (Or press CTRL+R)

Step 4: Unclick the "Preserve Aspect Ratio Box"

Step 5: Set the new width and height for your wallpaper
(W-130-H-130 for i730 and i830, W-176-H-220 for i860)
Then click "ok"

Step 6: Click File--Save As

Step 7: Re-Name the wallpaper and Click the drop down menu and click "GIF - COMPUSERVE GIF"

Step 8: Click Save

Its not just that easy. Make a pic the right size and email it to your phone?
At least on mine. i670. Pics of wallpaper only work when locked or something.
Im new so Im just wondering how to make my own and get it to show up in the available list of wallpapers?

I have downloaded wallpapers to my phone using myjal and the screen size wasnt right so I resized & downloaded again now it is sending it to my media file & not my wallpaper folder. When I go into my media it doesnt give me a option to set as wallpaper, when I try to send to my card it now says proteced media? What can I do ?
