boost i930

ok guys my friend bought himself an i930 from ebay and he has boost now anyone know how to get this to work because when he puts in his sim it just said searc.hing denied and it staid that way i figured they sold him a busted phone i put in my sim and it worked perfectly. anyone know how to fix this i figure it needs to be unlocked. anyone know how?

it probly need 2be unlocked/cuz i had a boost card in my2nd 930 and it work/or i dont kno not sure yet but i will see wat i can and get bac 2 ya

forgot to mention dont know if itl make a diff but its a 730 boost sim

its either wut jgangsta said or da sim cause i had a sim from and i95 and put it in my 860 and i t didint work so den i went 2 nextel and dey said i need a new sim

it should work my boy bought on ebay it was a regular i930 and it wasn't unlock so u got to change sum stuff on da cp

i have a 930 and regular boost sims dont work on it remember this is a smart phone it reads your sim and configures your account to it on the nextel network and 730 sim will not work either it has to be 860 or higher
