My Daughter has the exact same phone. Use MPT with a USB cord, and you are good to go. As far as the AOL, I am not to sure on that one. I have not really messed around with much other that the wallpapers and ringtones.

We have the V3m's here (alltel, not T-mobile - but they for the most part are similar). This is the information I used when getting started with it a few months ago.

Mp3 files

(preferably Mpeg 1.0/Layer 3) will work..

Suggested encoding settings are 48kbit/44khz/mono, or 64kbit/44khz/mono


As for games......the last I read there is not much you can do, as of my last searching, because they are "brew" phones, not "java", except download from your provider.

As for the wallpaper, we use 176 x 220 jpeg.

I use Motorola Phone Tools to install. There are other programs (some free) out there too. (midway, bitpim, p2k commander are some of them)

ight well here you go first get motarola phone tools and a usb cable (i posted the motarola phone tools a while ago.). then ull get ur self free ringtones. yayy!! now as of wallpapers i believe you can use motarola phone tools if not there are many sites that you can go to like drak posted before the website funformobile.com. Now for aol you cannot get it on any phone really. ****** the sidekick is ONE OF THE ONLY phones made for the usage of aim/aol. its not the crap shit that u get when u can only have 30 buddies its the real fucking deal it has everything*****

My oppinion but i dont care how i spend my money so i would go with the sidekick 3 that is a great phone. It has everything your daughter wants, would make a great gift/ suprise for her, and its the shit lol.
That is my oppinion buy a sk3 or sk2 almost EVERYONE has one my little sister only 7 has a sidekick 3(for text and ie) and a verizon phone ( main cell ).
Now my oppinion with the fucking motarola razors- they are a pice of shit that break fast and asre fucking gay. they will break very fast, you will have software problems with the phone, and everything will go wrong with it.
I would personaly never gotten that phone ( the only reason why people like it is that its thin) big woop its a piece of SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
