I am getting a T-mobile dash within the next couple days...Anybody got any hints, secerets, advice, on getting ringtones, themes, wallpapers on the phone or any other mods to do? I have Nextel I930 and was wondering it the stuff for it would work, theme maker, where you put walls, etc....

i will look into it just busy rite now... no it will not work the i930 materials on the dash... for ringtones you can do the bluetooth method where if you know someone who does there own ringtones and has bluetooth. you just simply enable blue tooth both phone then go to the phone that has the ringtones on it and go to menu and click send or move then click bluetooth and it will search for the handset then just simply send it when it find your phone

I found that you can add .mp3, .wav, .mid files to \Application Data\Sounds\ for custom ringtones when synced to you pc. They will then show up in Start -> Settings -> Sounds

I will try and post other stuff as I find it and maybe it will help someone else out.....

I have used the same setting that I used for the I880/I870 but if remember correctly last time I put one on I just cut the mp3 to how I wanted it and stuck it on there.

but the sampling rate is different. the Q is stereo speakers, the dash has only 1 speaker, which means it's mono, and im sure the bit rate is different. Any clue on the ringtone's, purchase from t-mobile, what the sampling and bit rate is?
