I285 signal problem
like 3 months ago my signal has very bad reception i just turn on the phone and it says Boost and above boost it says Nextel too, then it pass to ready and some times i have to wait hours to get 1 bar of signal. does anybody knows a solution for this?

there might be something wrong with the code plug in the phone, or somebody messed with the id's or codes in the settings area. if you call boost, they can usually tell you what is wrong with it, because i had an i215 that was like that. Also have you ever dropped the phone? because that is what made my old i215 never get any signl, they said i damaged the phone's internal parts. my suggestion would be to get a new phone.

yeah i had dropped the phone to many times, i have like a year and six months with it.

i used to have a i285 and i droped mine so much that my phone would turn on and off on its own or just when i was making a call what i did was traded in my phone for a i730 and as well i bought a phone pouch that hooks up to your belt when i had my i285 i used the phone clip that u just push the phone on the clip and it clips on thats the main reason why my phone droped so many times hope this helps
